In late summer 2021, the small but cozy restaurant “Campino” opened directly at the site. Italian delicacies and international delicacies can be enjoyed in the tastefully decorated interior or on the large sun terrace. A cool beer or a selected wine in a convivial round on the summer evening is a great way to end a beautiful day.

Furthermore, gastronomic establishments in and around Sassenberg offer delicious international cuisine, wok dishes, Westphalian specialties, regional asparagus dishes and strawberry delicacies, fresh salads, tasty desserts and stimulating drinks as well as cocktails hold the diverse gastronomic offerings in Sassenberg. Small cozy cafés and an Italian ice cream parlor are worthwhile culinary destinations even during the day.

In the city center of Sassenberg, which is a good 1 kilometer away from Campingpark Heidewald, all retail offers of daily life are sufficiently represented.

And if it has to go fast: A pizza/döner cab from nearby Sassenberg will bring your food right to the campsite. A good price-performance ratio characterizes this delivery service.

We definitely recommend a reservation for the small and cosy restaurant! Of course you can also order a pizza, pasta or salad to take away.

Closed January and February 2023 and open again from March!
