Sleeping barrel

The rustic sleeping experience for young and old has been popular with bookings for several years. The wooden sleeping barrels are suitable for 2 adults and max. 2 children. WC, washing facilities and shower are provided in the nearby sanitary building.

In front of the sleeping barrel you will find seating, which invites you to breakfast with a view of nature in fine weather. The barrels have adequate interior lighting. In cooler weather, a heater provides cosiness.

The rustic furnishings spread a hearty atmosphere. With a living and a sleeping area and sufficient storage space – not only for small luggage – a sleeping barrel is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tourists or as a weekend event for young families.

With the expansion in winter 2017/2018, a small sleeping barrel village has been created with seven sleeping barrels in a fenced-off area within sight of the play area. The plants and plantings in and around the sleeping barrels emphasise the special ambience of this small village.

In our reception we offer a bread roll service with a variety of delicious bread rolls from the local baker in Sassenberg. Here you will also find everything else you need for a delicious breakfast in the countryside.

The sleeping barrels are furnished for two people with complete sleeping equipment (bedding and bed linen). Please bring your own shower and hand towels. We are happy to accommodate additional persons (children) on request according to our current price list.
